What’s Inside The Book?

This “Bodybuilding Roadmap” is a practical guide for new physique competitors in all divisions as well as those with some competition experience. It presents a step-by-step process to prepare for competition, as well as the costs associated with bodybuilding competitions as a hobby,  and a show day checklist. Be sure to check out the money-saving budget tips for each expense!

The second chapter provides a timeline for all of the preparatory tasks you need to accomplish from sixteen weeks out all the way to competition day. It often costs competitors time, money, and frustration when they are unaware of when to begin each necessary task. This is a simple but highly effective listing of what needs to be accomplished at each phase of your journey.

This guide will provide you with the successful insights you need to get ready for your first show with your eyes wide open!

What Is NOT In The Book

This book does NOT include detailed nutrition or workout plans. It assumes that you are sufficient size to compete in the division for which you have chosen.

Of course, if you need detailed 1-on-1 help with coaching, training, nutrition coaching, posing practice, or any other services, IFBB Coach Stacy Wig is available to help.

About the Author

Stacy started her competition career in 1998 when Fitness America and Fitness Universe were the popular organizations to compete in.
Stacy competed nationally in both and then found her home with the NPC. She began competing in the NPC in 2000, was out for several months 2001-2002 with a broken cervical spine and foot surgery yet won NPC Nationals earning her IFBB pro card in 2002. In those days, there really were no posing or competition coaches so most competitors had to learn the hard way!
Stacy has been serving as a bodybuilding prep coach for fifteen years. She decided to take all of the questions that she receives daily and the aspects of competing that she would have loved to have at her fingertips when she first started, and compose a 67- page eBook with competition timelines, contacts, checklists for what needs to be done at each stage of the process, a show day checklist, a budget planner, and a chapter on motivation.
